A 1-day Refresher course
for HSRs - and others
This interactive 1-day workshop provides an overview of new and/or recent developments with the Victorian OHS legislation and reviews the role, powers and rights of  HSRs.
OSHA is approved by WorkSafe Victoria to conduct this course.
However managers, supervisors, Health and Safety Committee members - and indeed anyone with an interest in workplace health and safety  - also will benefit from attending the program.
Under the OHS Act (section 67) all elected HSRs and deputy HSRs after completing an initial course of training, have an entitlement (for each year they hold office) to attend Refresher training and choose the course in consultation with their employer.  (Please note: WSV require each participant should complete the enrolment form.)
Attendance at all sessions is required in order to be awarded a Certificate of Attendance. (As the course is not competency based, there is no formal assessment.)

Note: HSRs are entitled to attend a 'Health & Safety Representative INITIAL OHS Training Course'.
