About the workshop
Featuring experienced Psychologist Dr Jennifer Rice and OSHA Senior Consultant Sandy Doull (M.OHS), this unique 1 day workshop will provide practical, strategic and informed interventions working on the key issues to prevent Stress Related Ill health. 
Dr Rice is an endorsed Community and Health Psychologist, with extensive training and experience in social psychology and trauma-induced practice. She has particular interests in the psychology of stress and trauma, particularly complex trauma, and she has for many years consulted to the out-of-home care sector on family relationships for children separated from their parents. Jenni is an approved supervisor with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia, and a qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.Jenni works in private practice as a clinician, relationship counsellor and family mediator with individuals, couples and families and also provides consultation, supervision and training in trauma informed practice, interpersonal neurobiology and the psychology of attachment.

We will endeavour to make the workshop as practical and interactive as time allows. The workshop will address a number of themes including:

1 – Your Organisation’s Health – Organisational Diagnosis & Integrity
2 – Understanding where the kids may be coming from – Working With Trauma

3 – Trauma Informed Education - Building Community and Belonging in Schools
4 - Taking Stock of your own own psychological health - Managing Stress and Self-Care

Participants are supplied with a detailed workbook and reference source. The course will be conducted at the Polygon Training Centre, Level 13, 474 Flinders Street Melbourne.
Course times are 9:00am - 4:30pm.  Morning and afternoon refreshments are provided.
